I was very impressed with how quickly this product reached me in the UK. Excellent communication & speedy service.
I have been suffering with severe ITBS in my right knee for the last 3 months. It was mild to start with and became so severe I could barely walk let alone run. My last run was end Jan and I have since had a few physio visits. Tried running after resting it for 2-3 weeks but the pain came back at mile 2. Have been using a cross trainer & swimming to keep my cardio up as I have my first 1/2 marathon 29th March so I was very keen to get going again. But I had to be sensible and listen to my physio. I have only just started running again with the Patt strap on and I have been fine. Been out twice (a 5 mile and a 6 mile run) and thank goodness no flare up's. I didn't try running with the Patt Strap on whilst my ITB was painful so can not comment on how effective it is whilst in the midst of this dreaded problem. All I can say is, I think the only cure is complete rest and a brilliant physio/sports massage to help speed the healing process. One other thing to mention is that when I used the cross trainer, my knee started hurting after 40 mins but with the Patt Strap on I didn't get any pain, so I really do think this helped. It is worth investing in as I feel this product is beneficial. And yes, I will be wearing it when I do the 1/2 marathon!
